On May 10th, the GHS Multicultural club will have a multicultural night in the auditorium. A lot went into preparing the event with having to gather food supplies and performers/guest speakers. The club has been planning this event for close to a year, even meeting during summer vacation to gather everything that was needed.
“We hope to accomplish more cultural diversity in our school and bring more cultural appreciation” Senior Balkaran Warraich said.
During the event, people will have the opportunity to go around different stalls and learn about diverse cultures and they will receive a stamp in return. Alongside that, they have a flag walk and performances.
“For me, I’m South Korean, so my culture is very important to me. It’s one of the things that make me who I am.” Senior Judy Hwang said.
