Many of our cardinals are out of the nest and working outside of school! Our juniors and seniors have their careers planned out and are working to achieve them. Students at Gainesville High School have a large variety of different creative jobs and dream careers that shape them as people. “I work at urban air; I want to be a nurse or a nurse esthetician.” Senior Jessica Williams said. “I work at a winery, but I want to be a federal agent.” Senior Riley Stever said. “I work at a flower shop, but I want to be a mechanical engineer,” Senior Yaz Kalifa said. While some of these jobs don’t correlate with the students’ future careers, some jobs do correlate with our students’ career plans. “I’m a barber which ties into what I plan on doing in the future,” Senior Daniel España.
As amazing as our seniors are, we could never forget our juniors! Even though they have more time left with us than class of ‘26, we are still cherishing every moment and love hearing about their unique careers. “Mama Mia Pizza, I want to be an esthetician and open by business one day.” Junior Layla Qura said.
