“Most of the time I would just dominate these guys, but my last match of sixth grade I went up against this kid who was pretty good, and it actually went the whole way. I was down on the scorecard, and I ended up just coming back and outworking him. That was my toughest match… I don’t like losing, when I’m down, at this point it’s hard to breathe, because it’s fast paced, but I don’t want to go out on a loss, because at the time I was undefeated too. I was three and zero. People think it’s good to be undefeated, when you lose your first match it takes a weight off of your shoulders, because it’s not scary to lose, you can keep going. It was actually my first match in eight grade that I lost, and now I’ve won everything since, because I feel like I’m more comfortable out there wrestling now.” – Freshman Braylon Carman
