“I’ve been on stage since I was three,” sophomore Alexandra Soza said. “It makes me extremely happy and it gives me something to do and it’s kind of like a distraction for me. Doing theater also kills my depression. I started off with ballet and I didn’t like it. I did ballet for 7 years. I stopped around 2016 because the company I was with wasn’t the greatest. The rules were very strict and precise. The middle school theater I went to was not the greatest either. Going to a new school that I actually liked and being with new people made me feel more comfortable and I thought it was a good opportunity and I just took it and it made me happy.”
