As the year continues and more and more students are getting involved in school clubs, Best Buddies has become one of the most popular clubs at Gainesville High School. In Best Buddies, GVHS students spend time with and assist special needs students, making them feel supported, loved, and understood. All students at Gainesville are equal, and the members of Best Buddies do a great job of emphasizing that and building real friendships with students that unfortunately don’t always receive everyopportunity they deserve.
Junior Aland Soran stated “I really like working with the kids because they’re really inspiring, pure, and down to earth.”
Senior Jorani Lundy stated, “I love the inclusive and welcoming environment the club has, it makes it really enjoyable for everyone.”
